Let me introduce myself
I'm a 25 year old Portuguese Biomedical Tech Bachelor.Due to finish my degree, I am looking forward to securing challenging roles in Biomedical Engineering.
My studies have provided me with broad proficiency in the use of different engineering methods, tools, software ,programming languages and techniques. So what can you expect from me? A person who seeks new challenges and enjoys researching, learning constantly new stuff.

My Bachelor's Degree
Biomedical Technology is a broad field combining technical sciences with knowledge in the field of medical sciences. The course offers knowledge multiple engineering fields such as :
Mechanical
Biomaterials, biomechanics and manufacturing technologies.
Eletric
Eletronics, Biomedical Instrumentation and Signal Processing.
Chemistry & Biology
Celular and Molecular Bio, Biochemistry and Physical Chemistry.
Informatics
C, Matlab, Octave and Image Processing.
Skills
Technical
Advanced using Microsoft Office, programming in Matlab and other specialized languages such as R and Octave. Currently learning Web Dev, Python and MySQL through self-study. Comfortable working in biological laboratories, analysing and manipulating biological data.
I also work with modelling technologies such as SolidWorks and Adobe Photoshop. I have interest and ease in acquiring new knowledge in areas of technology.
Comunication
Communication is the core of success, whether written or verbal, so I always try to adapt and improve the ability to communicate effectively with others.
During my academic career i took part of the Students Association which allowed me to participate in several events with different levels of interaction with various people from different areas and cultures, which allowed me to gain confidence and ease in public speaking.
Teamwork
Teamwork allows multiple areas join together to solve problems quickly and effectively. I consider myself a person who can work both in a team and independently, considering that teamwork leads to success more quickly. Since the beginning of my academic career I have participated in several group works, producing several events that have been very successful in the academic environment.
